Dr.
Bernhard Walther
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
After receiving his doctorate Dr. Walther joined Bankers Trust (197882),
followed by professorship for finance and advisor to the Stock Exchange
in Taiwan (1983-86), and thereafter a management position at Credit
Suisse in Switzerland (1986-89).
He then became Managing Director of DIT Deutsche Investment Trust
(1989-96) and of the Dresdner International Research Institute. This
was followed by the creation and management of DG Panagora (1996-98),
a joint venture of Nippon Life, Lehman Brothers and the DG Bank.
In addition to his responsibility as Board Member of UBS Deutschland
AG in charge of private clients (1998-2001) he has held the position
of Chairman of the Board of arago Institute für komplexes Datenmanagment
AG, a business he co-created. Furthermore he is in charge of several
private wealth management activities.
